1. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect:

We rely on third-party payment processors to handle full credit card or banking details, and we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
- Send updates about service changes, security, or policy updates
- Understand how users interact with the Services
- Diagnose technical issues
- Develop new features and offerings
- Customize certain content and recommendations related to your use of the Services
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents

We may aggregate or de-identify information so it no longer identifies you. We may use and share such aggregated or de-identified information for any lawful business purpose.
5. SMS and MMS Messaging and Mobile Data
We take SMS privacy and compliance seriously. In addition to the above, the following terms apply specifically to our SMS and MMS program:
By entering your phone number during sign-up, login, or when submitting a request, you consent to receive text messages from Joinask.me.
These messages are primarily transactional, such as:
- Account verification codes
- Notifications that a creator has accepted or answered your question
- Important service or account alerts
Program Description: We send alerts when creators respond to fan questions, as well as occasional service-related updates that are necessary to operate your account.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your activity (for example, how many requests you submit and how often creators respond).
Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Please check with your mobile carrier.
Opt-Out: You can opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to any message you receive from us. After you do so, we will send you one final message to confirm you have been unsubscribed.
Help: For help regarding SMS, reply "HELP" to any message or contact us at support@joinask.me.
Carrier Liability: Mobile carriers (including, but not limited to, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No Sale or Sharing of Mobile Data
We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer for profit any phone numbers or mobile subscriber information collected through our SMS program to any third party for their own marketing purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
In addition, we expressly state:
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
6. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information with:
To fulfill a fan's request, we share necessary details with the selected creator (for example, the question, any instructions, and your first name or display name).
If you are a creator, your profile and content will be visible to fans and others on the platform, as configured in your settings.
- Payment processors
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
- Analytics providers
- SMS and email delivery providers
- Customer support tools and other vendors who perform services for us
These providers are permitted to process your information only as necessary to provide services to Joinask.me and are not authorized to use your information for their own marketing purposes.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, where permitted by law.
We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to:
- Comply with applicable laws or legal requests
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Joinask.me, our users, or others
- Enforce our terms and agreements
We do not sell your personal information as "sell" is defined under many privacy laws.
